Lower Widdicombe Farm, Beeson is a working farm surrounded by peaceful countryside with land running right down to the sea near Beesands and the South West Coast Path, which is within an easy walk away. This is a very special place for wildlife enthusiasts with the well known Slapton Ley close by but also a large fresh water lake belonging to the farm which attracts a great variety of water birds including the rare Cirl Bunting. Anglers with their own licence are permitted to fish here. There is a wonderful selection of sandy coves just a short distance away and when you’ve finished bird watching, fishing, exploring or swimming by day you may be lucky enough to catch the local badgers at play in this lovely valley in the evening. Lower Widdicombe Farm offers traditional farmhouse accommodation which has plenty of room for two families to share a holiday. The welcoming owners live next door.

The house is entered through the kitchen which is fully equipped with oil fired rayburn, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave, CD and radio, dining table and chairs. The spacious sitting room has a wood burning stove, TV, DVD and plenty of comfortable furniture. Upstairs there are three large bedrooms, one with a double and a single bed, shower cubicle and hand basin. A second double bedroom with an extra single bed and a basin. The third bedroom has three single beds. Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and basin. Separate WC and basin. There is a back entrance into an enclosed garden with table and chairs, swing and trampoline, a large area for families to relax and enjoy ball games.
