East Cornworthy Barton is a newly refurbished barn conversion in the delightful rural hamlet of East Cornworthy, close to the picturesque river Dart and Dittisham, 6 miles from Totnes and Dartmouth. For guests bringing their own boat, the owners of the property offer free boat storage and launching facilities at Blackness Marine (1/4 of a mile away) for the duration of their holiday. As well as a small garden and patio area there is a 5 acre meadow with a stream at the bottom. The Barn has been restored to a very high standard, retaining lots of the original features with exposed beams and roof trusses and will make an ideal holiday home for families or couples alike.

Accommodation: The front door opens from the parking area into a spacious tiled hallway. On the ground floor there is a king size double bedroom with easy access for anyone with walking difficulties, with fully tiled en-suite wet room, WC and basin. Open plan kitchen, living/dining room with oak floors. The very well equipped kitchen has cream painted units with granite tops, range cooker, American style fridge freezer and dishwasher, kitchen table and chairs. The living room has plenty of comfy seating, wood burning stove, TV with Sky, dining table and chairs. Patio doors which open onto a terrace and lawned garden, table and chairs and BBQ, with lovely rural views. Separate WC.

The stairs lead from the hallway to a galleried landing and three bedrooms. Master double bedroom with dark wood king size sleigh bed, part tiled en-suite shower room with WC and basin. Twin bedded room with pine and cream 3ft beds and further double bedroom with king size oak bed, sharing a family bathroom with bath, shower, basin and WC.
Outside there is plenty of off road parking, small lawned garden and terrace. Store room ideal for bikes, wet weather gear etc. Across the lane there is a private 5 acre meadow exclusively for guests use with stream at the bottom. A wonderful open space for children to enjoy and splash about.
