Ropewalk Cottage is situated on Lake Street in the heart of Dartmouth. This is a very quiet residential street, two minutes level walk to the shops, restaurants and the river Dart. The cottage is very comfortably finished and retains a lot of its old charm and original features, including stripped pine doors.
Although the cottage does not have private parking guests can pull up on the road outside and a car parking pass for the Mayors Ave Car Park is available from April till September which is situated two minutes walk away. There are a few steps up to the front door, which opens into an open plan living room/kitchen with a comfy sofa and arm chair, occasional tables, TV, DVD, CD player/radio and ipod docking station. There is a fold away dining table and chairs. The Kitchen is separated by a breakfast bar with stools. White fitted kitchen with an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.
The stairs lead from the living room to two bedrooms. One double with TV and a small twin. Bathroom with a bath and electric shower, basin and WC. There is a door from the landing to a small secluded decked patio area with a bistro table and chairs.
