Ropewalk Cottage, Dartmouth is situated on Lake Street, a very quiet residential street, in the heart of Dartmouth. You are just two minutes level walk to the River Dart, the lovely selection of individual shops and galleries, and the wealth of good restaurants for which Dartmouth is so well known. This cosy self catering holiday cottage is very comfortably furnished and retains a lot of its old charm and original features, including stripped pine doors. You can pull up on the road outside to unload your luggage and a car parking pass for the Mayors Ave Car Park is supplied from April till September (just two minutes walk away).
There are a few steps up to the front door, which opens into an open plan living room/kitchen with a comfy sofa and arm chair, occasional tables, TV, DVD, CD player/radio and ipod docking station. There is a fold away dining table and chairs. The white fitted kitchen is separated by a breakfast bar with stools and has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.
A staircase climbs from the living room to two bedrooms. One double with TV and a small twin, individually decorated and appointed. Bathroom with a bath and electric shower, basin and WC. There is a door from the landing to a small secluded decked patio area with a bistro table and chairs.
