Situated about a mile from the village of Dittisham, Barberry Farm Cottage is an exceptionally pretty home which has been offered for holidays and will provide its lucky visitors with their own stunning little patch of Devon. This is the quintessential English country cottage with roses and a honeysuckle around the door and an acre of garden and orchard – with a pond and a stream running along the boundary. The cottage is less than a mile to Dittisham and within an easy drive to Dartmouth, Totnes and Blackpool Sands.Accommodation: The front door opens in to the hall. Sitting room with large open fire place, TV, DVD and comfy sofas. Lovely light kitchen with French doors onto south facing garden, cream painted units, gas AGA and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, pine table and chairs. Back door to garden. Utility room with washing machine. Cloakroom with WC and basin.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one large double bedroom, kingsize bed, with en suite, shower, WC and basin and another bedroom with twin beds. Bathroom with bath and hand held shower, WC and basin. Stairs lead from the spacious landing to a double bedroom in the eaves, with sloping ceiling, window/door giving access onto a roof terrace, which looks over the garden and fields beyond. En suite bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and basin.
Outside there is ample parking for 2 cars and a large garden with aptio, garden furniture and barbeque and lawns. A great space for children to play and let off steam but beware with little ones there is a pond and stream at the bottom.
