Shipwrights in the centre of Kingswear is a treasured little cottage which has recently undergone a complete refurbishment to turn it into a light, cosy and contemporary retreat. It offers lovely views across the marina and river Dart over to Dartmouth and the Britannia Royal Naval College standing proud up on the hill. This is an ideal base to explore the area from, with the Dart Valley Trail and the South West Coastal Footpath almost on your doorstep, the beaches of Torbay and the South Hams are closeby. Kingwear has a village shop and Post Office, pubs and a restaurant while Dartmouth is just a short ferry ride away.
The front door leads into the open plan living area with slate flooring and wood burning stove. The kitchen has blue and white tiles, painted wooden units with electric oven and hob, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and microwave. The sitting area has comfy seating, wood burning stove, TV with DVD, and a dining table and chairs set by the large window with this view. Upstairs there are two fresh blue and white bedrooms both with river views, a double with wrought iron bed and a single with pine bed. Shower room with electric shower, WC and basin.
