Lower Merrifield, Slapton is a log cabin (not situated on a holiday park) set in glorious countryside with sea glimpses out towards Start Bay. The village of Slapton is only a five minute drive, the village has two pubs, both well known for good food and a village shop. A little further on from the village is the vast expanse of Slapton Sands, Slapton Ley Nature Reserve and the beach side village of Torcross, with an excellent pub well known for fresh fish, a couple of cafes, village shop and butchers.
Lower Merrifield is a beautifully constructed timber lodge, very comfortably furnished and equipped for four guests. The accommodation is on one level with very easy access from the parking area.
Hallway leading to the living room. In this light and spacious rooms there are two sofas and an arm chair, TV, DVD with patio doors opening out into the garden and deck. The dining area has a pine table and chairs with views across the rolling fields and down to the the sea. Modern fitted cream kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, combi oven/microwave/grill, gas hob. The bedrooms comprise of a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Shower room with large shower cubicle, WC and basin. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside there is a large lawned garden with decked area, table and chairs and gas barbeque, lovely countryside views and sea glimpses. Parking for two cars and a toddlers climbing frame.
