Country Corner has been completly refurbished in the New England beach mode, and is a very stylish, comfortable and welcoming holiday home. The sea/south facing cottage occupies a wing of a large house on the edge of Stoke Fleming, just 700 yards from the award winning Blackpool Sands beach, 2 minutes walk away from the South Devon coastal footpath, and has wonderful views over Start Bay and Slapton Sands.
Whilst it has wide appeal, it is particularly ideal for a family with young children. The excellent (child friendly) local pub (Green Dragon) and Brill Plaice restaurant (which also does take-aways) are both less than 5 minutes leisurely walk away, and guests enjoy generous 25% discounted rates at the Dartmouth Golf and Country Club.
Accommodation Details:
Private entrance porch next to private car bay. Bright and sunny panelled open plan living accommodation with solid oak flooring, new kitchen/dining area with stainless steel electric cooker, ceramic hob, extractor, oak work surfaces and breakfast/dining table, porcelain butler sink, microwave, washing machine and fridge with ice compartment. Rattan picnic basket.
Very comfortable seating area with sofa bed (an alternative to the bunk beds), wide screen LCD wall mounted TV, DVD, CD/radio. Stairs up to a double bedroom with a kingsize bed and glorious sea views, luxurious ensuite bathroom with bath, power shower over, WC and basin.
Off the double bedroom is a further bedroom with pine bunk beds. Provided as standard are first quality Egyptian 100% cotton Harrods branded linen, towels and bathrobes.
A choice of duvet/pillow content is available for visitors who do not prefer goose down. Visitor's have access to the owner's large book, DVD and CD library.
At the front of the cottage there is a seating area with table and chairs , at the rear there is a shared sunny garden, with shallow fish pond, garden funriture and barbecue.
