Seal House is a detached bungalow with a wonderful location in the village of Dittisham on Dittisham Mill Creek and has panoramic views across the river Dart from most rooms and the garden. It has a large mature garden with sweeping lawns right down to the water’s edge, where wildlife enthausiasts can enjoy spotting a wide variety of birds including several species of waders, and from where a glimpse is occasionally caught of one the River Dart’s famous seals from which the house takes its name. It provides a very peaceful setting for a relaxing holiday and for the active, there is a self-contained indoor heated swimming pool -Easter to end of September.

Accommodation Details:

Front door leads into a spacious hallway. Very large lounge/dining room with fabulous river views, woodburning stove, TV/DVD and CD player, picture windows and patio doors leading out onto sheltered terrace overlooking the river. Large kitchen with river views and patio doors, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and hatch through to dining room. Master double bedroom with patio doors and river view. Large twin bedroom. Family bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and basin. Separate WC. Double bedroom with en suite shower, WC and basin. A further double bedroom with river views, en suite shower and toilet is situated adjacent to the kitchen as is the utility room with washing machine.
At the front of the property there is a large private driveway with plenty of parking. Running along the back of the bungalow with stunning river views is a large terrace with garden furniture and BBQ, a perfect spot to watch the sun go down. Steps lead down to the mature lawned garden and pool house containing a heated swimming pool, shower and changing areas, sliding doors opening onto a raised terrace and then onto the garden. At the very bottom of the garden are wooden steps down to Quick’s beach which is usually host to a variety of traditional boats.
