Located in the heart of the Dartmouth, on the flat and level; 10 Lake Street is a beautifully presented 3-bedroom family home with onsite garage and private decked area. Ideally suited for 6 guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms 10 Lake Street is a fantastic place to stay all seasons only a stones throw from the centre of town and the River Dart as well as the South West Coast Path and the beaches of the South Hams. 2 well behaved dogs welcome.

The front door opens to a private staircase which takes you straight up to the main landing space. The landing has plenty of room for coats and boots as well as access to the private deck at the rear of the property.

Head through to the large open plan living space with comfortable lounge area on the far side, kitchen in the near corner and sociable dining area.

The kitchen area is well equipped with oven, hobs, fridge, freezer, washing machine, the worktop separates the kitchen from the lounge area. The kitchen window looks out onto the deck at the rear. The lounge area has a sofa with natural wood coffee table as well as a pair of comfortable modern armchairs,TV with DVD. The dining table has plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy meals together. Large windows with window seat fill the room with light and look out on to the quiet Lake Street with its selection pretty, colourfully painted cottages.

Upstairs to the second floor where guests will find the bedrooms and bathrooms all of which are off a central corridor; The first bedroom has a kingsize bed, wardrobe, bedside table, the second bedroom again has a kingsize bed wardrobe and bedside table. Both rooms are on the front of the property looking over Lake Street. The bunk room has full size bunk beds hanging space. The first bathroom is a full bathroom with a shower over the bath, toilet and wash basin. The Second bathroom has a shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin.

The private deck is accessed via the first floor landing and has outdoor furniture

Below the property is the private garage, like many garages of the period when this was built, it may be trickier for larger vehicles, not just due to the size of the garage but the narrow street requires a bit of finesse.

The restaurants shops , pubs and cafes of Dartmouth are a minutes walk away. The river is a 2 minute walk away and the beaches of Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands are a 5 and 10 minute drive away respectively.

In the peak season, May, June, July and August we need to keep to Friday changeovers and a minimum stay of 7 nights. However, please do contact us with any requests you may have and we will accommodate if possible especially for bookings at late notice.
Out of peak season we don't need to keep to a Saturday changeover.
