We have used Dart Valley Cottages now for a number of years and always been happy with their service and properties. 8 Mayflower Court proved to be another triumph. A lovely immaculately clean spacious property offering everything you would need for a comfortable home from home feeling, and not forgetting that amazing view to look out on every day of our stay.

We have returned to 8 Mayflower Court this holiday home is very good with fabulous views of the river Dart. The flat is well located and in walking distance to the town. The home has good quality furniture and the beds are fantastic along with a well equipped kitchen and the shower is also great, we have stayed in many places where all these things have been an issue but this flat does not disappoint and you will enjoy your stay. Really comfortable apartment for a family and perfect location. Only issue we had was that the company would not provide us with a code to access the front door despite repeated requests (we had a spare key which we assumed was the front door but couldn’t get in the building) We therefore had to walk around the block which was not well lit, to go in the back door. "Location of this flat is perfect for centre of Dartmouth and the view across the estuary to Kingswear is amazing. Accommodation is very well furnished with no expense spared and everything maintained in good condition. Double bed was so comfortable we came home and purchased the very same mattress! Lots of helpful little notes around to help with 'need to knows'. Fortunately the owners provide a parking permit for both the flat car park and Mayors Avenue - it is, as stated by others, very tight to say the least below the flat. Mayors Avenue car park can be busy all day so it's a little stressful wondering if there will be a space available when returning from a day out. Don't think this would stop us from coming back as we don't tend to holiday during peak season/school holidays and the flat, aside from the parking, is lovely." - Greenwood - June 2023

"This was our fourth stay in Mayflower Court and third in No 8. The first things that attract you are the location of the property and the stunning views overlooking the river. There is always something interesting happening on the water and the steam railway beyond. The apartment is well appointed, comfortable and clean with all amenities. Having on-site parking is very important in Dartmouth which can become very busy. The bonus for us is the additional business car park pass which can be used for the adjacent Mayor's Avenue car park should there be several larger cars on site which can make it difficult to park in the on-site car park. This was not an issue on this visit but has been in the past. This all contributed to a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday." John - June 2022

The kitchen is the best equipped we have ever encountered, so I am able to cook a full meal just as I would at home. You don't even need to use the car - just park in the free parking area behind the apartments and enjoy walks by the river and boat trips to the castle and Dittisham. The steam train will take you to Paignton and of course there are all the lovely shops close to the apartment in Dartmouth itself. Excellent River Dart view with something to watch from the lounge window at any time of day. Everything you would want for a relaxing break. "My wife treated me for a week in Dartmouth for my 70th. We were in a great location with parking and shops nearby no driving required unless you were interested in surrounding areas. The apartment has great views and very comfortable even on a rainy day there was lots going on in the estuary. The harbour front and local shops are all on the flat and level mainly. Which made looking around easy on the legs. It can get quite steep for the more adventurist' in all a lovely apartment nice little town great views with no driving needed." Michael - January 2020
