Dartmouth and Kingswear

If you’re looking for South Devon holiday cottages, Dartmouth is a great destination for a self-catering stay at any time of year. Do take a look at our selection of holiday cottages – you will find accommodation suitable for family holidays, romantic breaks for two, properties with river views and dog-friendly cottages too.

Taking time to stroll along the riverfront, enjoying the views and boats sailing on the river is a real tonic. The pretty town lanes house a wide variety of inns and restaurants and plenty of independent shops and galleries. It’s a breeze to have days out without the car, with river trips up to Totnes, the Greenway Estate, and out to sea. The steam railway runs to Paignton from across the river at Kingswear. Blackpool Sands and the Woodlands Family Theme Park are a few minutes’ drive away.

Walkers and dog owners will love the choice on your doorstep, as the world-renowned South West Coast Path and Dart Valley Trail go through here.

Dartmouth comes alive for the annual music festival in mid-May, the Royal Regatta at the end of August, and the food festival in October. Whether you’re planning a short break or a longer holiday, Dartmouth will not disappoint and you’ll be sure to leave planning next year’s trip.

We are more than happy to help if you’d like to know more about our holiday cottages. Call us on 01803 771127 or email us at enquiries@dartvalleycottages.co.uk.
