"Excellent location so close to the river and shops and pubs you could easily not use your car at all. The house was very spacious much larger than expected and well equipped.The only thing that could be improved is the outside space needs new patio furniture with more seating (property sleeps 6 but only chairs for 4 ) also there was no barbecue as on the website description.but otherwise a really exelent home from home would definitely recommend" - Alan July 2022

"20 Clarence Street is a lovely, convenient and comfortable holiday home, with 3 good sized bedrooms, a well-stocked kitchen, a lovely living room with nice views and most importantly, plenty of bathrooms for 6 adults! It has a nice sized patio area with use of a barbecue. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, the house is very conveniently located in town, a few doors away from a pub and 5 minutes walk from the Embankment and the town centre. The approach up a steep drive might not suit a very long vehicle but most cars should be fine with it, and the use of a garage is absolutely brilliant in a place notorious for its lack of parking. "We found the accommodation to be set in an ideal location to explore South Devon and a five minutes walk to the centre of Dartmouth. 20 Clarence Street was clean and comfortable and we would certainly return in the future. The car parking was fine, we found no problem parking a Golf size car in the garage but any larger would be a bit of a squeeze. “Great town centre location. We’ve holidayed in Dartmouth many times and this house was one of the best: well-equipped, homely and a great location. The terrace garden is quiet and private and although the house sleeps 6, it’s possible to rent just the ground floor for 2 people (sole occupancy of house). Just take heed of the advice re garage size as it is fairly small and it’s not possible to leave your car on the shared drive. “Perfect holiday accommodation in Dartmouth. We stayed in September and were very impressed by the location. Just a few minutes walk to the river, shops and restaurants, including a very handy Marks and Spencers food hall. We barely used the car but there is parking with the accommodation which is a bonus in this area. Beds really comfortable and 2 bathrooms. Couldn’t fault it.” Linda – 21-28 September 2019

Having parking available is a plus but we found the garage narrow for VW Golf, a larger car would be a struggle to park & be able to open the door.
