The 6th Annual South Devon Crab Festival is a local treasure, with all the seafood sensations your tastebuds can handle, being held at various sites across the fine South Devon Riviera. A quaint local tradition, this festival boasts fun for all the family, with beach-side hijinx and fishy-festivities to leave your mouth watering for more.
In this week celebrating the finest in locally sourced seafood on our glorious coasts, there’s no way to avoid our finest eateries, with specially bespoke fish-dishes designed to celebrate the finest of the coast’s famous seafood.
To top all that off, the kind folks at Mitch Tonks‘ Rockfish on Dartmouth’s idyllic seafront will be hosting the Crab Street Party on 4th August, 12-4pm. Come down to experience the event, with stalls of beautifully cooked crab and a fantastic party environment, live music and fun to be had like only a Dartmouth festival can provide. In addition, local brewery Bridgetown will be unveiling the ‘Snap and Tickle’, a fine new brew to celebrate the occasion, and a wide array of wine and beers will also be available to compliment the fine taste of our coast-line’s exquisite seafood selection. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Dartmouth food festival and securing more of our culinary masterpieces for your inevitable return visit to our hub of great local food.
